Uhm, anyone else notice that their Ares is missing from their buy back pledge? It was up there a week ago, I bought this on original concept and was debating on picking it back up in a few days, I look today and its gone?!?!

I have to admit when Crusader came out with the Hercules and Star Runner it was my new favorite manufacturer and then the Ares came out and I was sold.

This ship has so much appeal, it doesn't require a huge crew, can perform multiple functions, nice design, its like the Connie of Crusader, nice multifunction ship. I have one and cant wait!

Well, sales are optional, I don't understand why people thinking putting sales up is a bad idea, but seeing how the Idris mission is delayed that defeats the whole purpose... meh more delays :(

And imagine fleet encounters, stations, planets etc.. now you are going to need a bunch of Nautilus's to maintain an even larger field. And this is where I really find it cool, especially if you are on the outer rim where Vanduul are on edge, there are countless missions and activities a mine...

You don't want to make it to rough either or people just wont play the mission lol.

A lot of us have access to torp ships though, with the buyback token coming up in a few days I imagine people will be swapping some loadouts. But I wanted to use mine on something else, hoping they would drop a few ships on sale with the 3.9, have to wait and see.

Yes! This is exactly what I am referring to, the missions generated by the A.I. and fleet battles would be awesome, again I know many people were not impressed with this ship or playstyle but I bought one right away just imagining all the cool stuff it can do that NO other ship in the game will...

I am just curious, with the whole Idris thing coming out do you think CIG might toss in a military ship sale or a few military ships on the block so people can arm up for this monster? I hope so, if I was CIG I would definitely toss the torpedo ships on sale so people can adequately combat this...

I know a lot of people are questioning the whole mine gameplay, I personally find it pretty cool and very niche, I am really debating on that ship being my main as few people will do it, I also think the A.I. quests/missions generated for this type of ship could be extremely fun and interesting...

I was watching some guy on youtube fight with the reclaimer it was pretty funny lol, then I watched a few with the 600i they both did pretty well actually, I may grab the 600i with my BBT. I am strictly talking A.I. combat mind you lol.

Funny you mention ramming, that's like 90% of my kills atm lol. I am a horrible combat pilot and the AI seems to just ram the hell out of you, I think I may grab the reclaimer and make that my combat ship and just ram shit!

I don't really do any combat stuff, but I was flying it all over doing cargo and other missions, I liked it. And yes I heard they are getting some love in next patch!

And I totally agree with this, yes it shouldn't take 7 years to make another star system, ships, etc.... they have done most of the work and now these things are considerably easier and I have never questioned IF the game will get done or be finished, I merely question when and how it gets...
