That was the main point of my question, I included the rest, to point out that I was not referring to known alien races, i.e. Xi'An, Banu, Vanduul, etc. Being able to wander around ruins would imply that we could find something usefull, and being taken out by biological means would imply that...

On procedural exploration. If I find a random Jump Point, and it has a planet with a landing zone, will there be a chance of finding an extinct alien civilization there? What about usable alien technology? Maybe they were taken out by their version of the "Black Plague", or a bioengineered...

Sounds good to me, I would also like to see the taming speed boosted a bit, I don't have enough free time to sit and watch over some of the Dinos while they tame. I sat for most of one night watching a level 12 Pteranodon tame.

Having an MSI board myself (990FXA Gaming) I'm gonna lean toward the clear the CMOS. some of the OC settings can get corrupted on a sudden power loss, it just happened to me, yesterday. I don't have anything overclocked, but some of the settings were not right after the blizzard we had knocked...
