It will be installed once I get home, I made an ISO of the original CD when it got scratched up(had to borrow a friends multi burner, and do it on linux to get a working image, but hey). How does Win10 handle it?

Have you tried using a Linux PC? Usually running Knoppix off a live CD/DVD/USB will read anything.....
