It really only deals with mine laying and sweeping. Not really about bouys. It will not make a good ground assault ship as its the size of a Hammerhead and will handle just as shitty, especially in atmosphere. NOT a combat ship.

Oh they plan on using it a LOT for cargo manipulation both in and out of atmosphere. If you watch the youtube segment that came out right after the ship concept sale, they go into a good amount of detail on how they want it to behave mechanically.
