Yeah, a few anti-virus applications give it a false positive. Might be due to the API system calls. I can assure there is no malware (and can even release the script source) but if someone does not want to risk it I completely understand.

It's not an official app or anything. Just something cooked up for those interested in having a desktop app that gives them quick access to common SC resources.

I agree. I just don't think most will work this way. Very large ships will require large amounts of money and resources, perhaps even orgs to maintain and operate. I just can't image a world where CIG expects players to spend loads of cash or in game grinding to achieve all the same ships...

No one is promoting the free and unlimited use of all ships in the PU here. The discussion is simply about the ability for the majority of people to test any given mechanic in game, to see if it works, how it works, and whether it is of interest to them. I think that's a pretty reasonable...
