Also agree that making your own character is super important for my immersion into a game. Really look forward to the replayability with this one and the diff char types and diff ways of tackling all the issues/challenges. So psyched for this game.

Jumping in late here... but one thing that I personally find that will be helpful when boredom sets in, is all the choices of what you can do career wise. I'm focusing on Medical and Search & Rescue gameplay and have ships specialized for that. In that regard, I hope to make a name for myself...
