I am glad the connie sized explorer (Aquila and 600i explorer) is not getting a look in. I am curious how they are going to make a reclaimer work (i.e. how many wrecks are there to fill one). I fully expect after battles there will be wrecks of course but history shows only the victor controls...

Seriously fighters are not balanced because why would you pay more for one if it is not better. This is nothing to do with Alpha its a sales technic that exists. If this wasn't true we would all only buy Aurora's because you wouldn't need anything else.

If they sell them for real cash they will not be balanced, the same way all the other fighters are!

There are plenty of ground combat games though, loads and even some good ones. No doubt they will be in the shop at some point. I have no doubt that stomping people with your epic suits is going to be epic, but someone has to be the victim. Over come your stamina issues get a powersuit, oh look...

I like the side doors and the removal of the old boosters on the side but the massive parking sensor things on the front I do not like. The cockpit is massive.

Unfortunately I think this is just feature creep. I do not know why he (Chris Roberts) is so keen to make this a ground based combat game. No doubt some sort of tanks will be next, rail guns are more than bad enough, they are not personal weopons. Noone even plays star marine.

I hate to be a cynic but it really does seem like they released to PTU for the sales. I can visit the hanger which in itself the ships are buggy but just get black screens in the PTU itself.

This so called big developer has spent a whole year producing a very very very buggy patch and thats it. They cannot all be involved in ship sales.

Actually the Herald may well have some ECM capability and if not it would be easy to add to that function to that ship.
