Is the hammer head a capital or not?!

Yep seems it's a light carrier, still feels tiny

Is the hammer head a capital or not?!

That's my big issue with how they have their fleet designed, they placed the Kraken far below the Javelin in size comparison. Is the Kraken a light carrier or something? I served in the Navy for 6 years and about to serve again. My ship was a destroyer and man is it tiny next to a carrier

    Transferring cargo

Well considering a Starfarer and Orion are both multicrew ships, doing it by yourself won't work until NPC crews are in. If you want to buy a Starfarer go for it

Is the hammer head a capital or not?!

As someone who has served and is going back to serve once more, I for one appreciate comments like this as I'm sure all who have and are still serving in all aspects do. Thank you

If this is the case, we need a big boat to have everyone meet in the middle......of the ocean. Its only fair :P

    Transferring cargo

There is no idea that they will need mining ship for this, most of it is just speculation at this point. All that has been clarified is that it will become a harvestable resource, of which they don't want the Starfarer to become the vessel to directly do it, more the one to collect basic gases...

    Transferring cargo

Couple days ago on spectrum. Chris Roberts does not want the Starfarer to be another large mining type vessel so now you will either have to EVA out to hand collect the raw matter or have it picked up by other ships. No decision has been made on how it's exactly collected yet

    Transferring cargo

Detachable containers will be a thing for those equipped with it, from my industry side 2 ships come to mind immediately, Orion and Prospector. Again I'd just hold off on the Starfarer until a decision is made on what method they decide on to collect raw quantum material, it could be an entirely...

    Transferring cargo

Personally I would hold off on buying a Starfarer currently. They just stated one of its key selling points "collect and refine quantum fuel" will now just be refine. Essentially it turns into either the Starfarer having a crew to hand collect the raw quantum material or relying on other forms...

Is the hammer head a capital or not?!

Well I watched a small combat ship solo blow up a hammerhead today in a few shots with the new singe weapons so does anything size wise matter currently if you can just nuke a ship that size in a few shots. Yes this was after the already nerf to them

Quantum Drives explained by Chris Roberts

This was my big issue all day after the announcement and I'm still going on about it. The Starfarer is sold as "Designed to collect and refine quantum fuel". Now with the new flight model/heat change and their reason they gave in todays article, the ship loses one big aspect of a selling point...
