I think AI blades are the way to do this - you have to choose do you want to slave the massive turrets to pilot on your redeemer or do you want to remotely call the ship? You can't do both!!

Problem is there isn't enough money in cargo / hull scraping etc to be able to pay the escorts any sort of decent wage. The escorts will mostly just do other combat missions and earn 4x to 10x. Only really roll players or mates helping mates will do any escorting. I like escorts...

I always hated Origin poncy upjumped rich twats flying round the univers flashing their wealth. But the 400i has become my GOTO daily driver - it's lovely such a good balance of things. I wish it had 2 x S5 guns instead of 2.s4 but that's literally the only thing I would change.
