Even though I was able to get back to work today, there are still many areas around Houston that are flooded. In some areas where levies were opened, water levels are rising. At work today, one of the guys lent out his boat to help another coworker get out of her subdivision. This storm also...

More rain today here in Houston (consistent rain since Friday). My immediate area is still holding up fine. The area around where I work has not fared as well as there is a lot of flooding in the streets and surrounding neighborhoods. I haven't ventured off anywhere to go sight seeing so...

That nursing home story is horrible. Luckily, they were airlifted to a safe location today. To be ahead of the storm as it goes back in the gulf and then heads this way, some areas south of Houston are now getting evacuation orders and flood zones in Houston are being asked to leave.

This is something I can work on while I wait for Harvey to pass over south east Texas and the city of Houston to start functioning again.

In addition the all the rain, there was a tornado in Katy yesterday. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.
