Where can I find this? I know that downloading the entire game took me around 5 minutes or so. Which is way faster as most people in the world, I believe. So at least the connection speed on my side is not the issue...

Yeah I know about the risk of data loss. But that is not my real concern since I have a NAS drive for all my personal files. And a separate HDD for my local stuff. So the only reason for me not to do RAID 0, is when the speed improvement is unnoticeable.

So thanks to all for the previous feedback. I eventually sold my Hornet and bought the SC + SQ42 + Mustang package. I won't upgrade it anymore so I have freedom in melting any other ship I buy without affecting my game package. And the Mustang is a pretty decent ship tbh, and looks great after...
