So having recently been lured back to star citizen, and since i now have a nice 3D printer, i have been looking up simpits for the last many days to gather inspiration and ideas. And i am thinking i want to in the end have a small room simulator. But since extruded aluminum is so expensive...

firstly a bit about me, i design and build products for a living, generally injection mould tooling and machined products, so i do know what i'm doing. what i'm planning to make wont be your every day Jaycar ( think radio shack) box with some switches on it. if it feels cheep i haven't done it...

... [end ellipsis] This is what I made. In total, its 27 toggle switches, 9 push buttons, and 7 rotary encoders to total 64 individual inputs. Basically, I like switches and buttons. It's based loosely on A-10C panels, but generalized more to work across multiple sim platforms, it's back-lit...
