Here are my cliff notes:

- Visible storehouse or disappear? Visual indication of what is where and how much cargo is in the warehouse.

- Cargo loading of bigger ships at space station or in space automated/manual? Loading/unloading cargo will take a long time for bigger ships and even present missions for NPC or even players to perform this task. Automated if you want or manual if you prefer fidelity.

- Touch on salvaging? Broken into 2 parts, salvaging (taking components) and scrapping (recycling). Using handheld tools will be VERY time consuming but cost-effective, using ship tools for salvaging is better, but only 1 person can operate it unless you have multiple ships.

- Cargo and mining hazards? Meteor showers, derelict ships, micro black holes, comets, debris fields, etc. Your ship components will fail with general wear and tear, maintenance will be needed, excessive use of certain components will wear them out faster. You might be pulled out of quantum travel for random events (derelict ship, pirates, etc.).

- Destructible props in the PU, how do they reset? Depends on the importance, more of a long-term thing. Large important items will get replaced, small stuff like a broken glass bottle, nobody cares. Some areas will not allow player mayhem such as common populated areas in cities, other areas, players have control.

- Cargo loading and unloading short and long term wise? Both manual and automated. Bigger ships will use specialized equipment such as a jumbo cargo container ship pulling into a port and the cranes unload the boat by the dock crew. Equipment/hand tools will be available to move bigger containers manually. Scanning ships is being worked on. Smuggling/hiding stuff on ships is being worked on.

- Move between professions fluidly or requalify? Absolutely move between them fluidly. No restrictions to the players on what you want to do or changing jobs on the fly. However, reputation will be key for gaining access to the higher paying jobs. Nobody is going to hire you to haul a ton of cargo if all you have done is pirating. Start with small jobs and build rep towards the bigger jobs.

- Prospector in 3.0? Prospector will be in 3.0. 3.0 is taking longer than they thought, but more mechanics will be fleshed out.

- Qualify/rep for certain jobs? Yes, rep will be built from the ground up, start with basic starter jobs, and work your way up for each profession. Higher value cargos will be riskier to transport, low value commodities will need to be transported in bulk to make a marginal profit.

- Autopilot for ships so I can get up and move about? Yes. Autopilot will be semi-smart and pull out of quantum travel for certain reasons. AI can also be given simple commands to fly from A to B so that you, the captain, can get up and go fix something, check on cargo, etc.

This is probably more of a game idea than anything I've heard mentioned, but I'd like to see the bounty hunters get shown a little love. How about after you gain a certain rep as a bounty hunter, you would be "licensed" to carry and use non-lethal weapons in the armistice zones? I think I'll ask CR...

That's actually a good question. Post it and we can upvote the hell out of it.

Haha, I can foresee lots of TESTes diligently working on their rep in order to blow it all with one big on-station spree

i have a vision ....seeing my genesis flying with NPC Captain and 3 NPC Crewmen "alone" back and forth between planet A and B (and refuel) transport passengers and bring me money automatically ...and i Can Play something different. That´s my Plan ! ;) ... like the ship routes in anno 1503, 1602, etc...which Transport some goods.

I dont think YOUR ship will be full automated, you will probably have to be on the ship to give the commands to your crew.

i have 8 packages only for this reason. Pilot, co-Pilot, Medic...crew ...gunner etc...all customizable NPC from Packages. I heard sometime Chris Roberts said they are thinking about the NPC Management. So could also be that you can administrate them in a specific window or console....perhaps no Need to be on the ship...and to fly from planet a to b is simple command...so perhaps possible

Right, you can hire them to pilot the ship, but you have to be there too. You cant just let the NPCs do EVERYTHING. Someone has to give them commands on what to do throughout a flight.
What I'm hoping is I can hire an NPC and put him in my Superhornet with the command of "Escort me". Im sure the AI they are building will be capable of that, because they have stated already the possibility to hire an NPC escort via the service beacon. Having him fly a ship you already own would just cut down on costs, i suspect.

Do you have a reference on this? From what they said you can have NPC'S crew you're ships to even provide an escort.
Yes crew your ship but you have to be present on said ship to give them orders. You won't be able to walk them p the ramp and tell them to deliver your cargo or go mine or go explore on their own.
