a possible way to un-blue specific posts?

What I mean is I tend to visit every single blue link on this site. I don't want to miss anything.

What I want to do is to keep the "testing please ignore" post in notices from going blue so I can know whenever an actual notification is made.

Also we should do something about all these new members joining because I can't keep the members section from going blue every time I reload the page. Last night I just gave up.

I understand your frustration, and I'm also one of the sinners.

Maybe a more colorful system would be great, if that's even possible?
Make stuff limegreen that has a response, and let blue for completely new posts. That way you can follow the blue for new posts, while you can check up on the green if you want, as that's "just" replies.

That is such a fantastic idea. I hope this isn't too technically difficult to do.

If it is though, my other suggestion would be to have the notices section be post only and have all those posts have a mirror post in general chat where people can talk and discuss them. If I remember correctly this is how Test Alliance does things and it seemed to work pretty well.

The reason I ask for this is half for my own "I want everything to be grey" and half that I don't want anyone missing out on anything potentially important by getting used to and not checking blue links in important sections.
