Well they usually do pretty well at the end of the year because most of the ships go back on sale that you couldn't get and some become flyable so they are even more appealing, also a few ship prices went up or changed as well as adding the IAE insurance. so it didn't surprise me that they had a big ending. The more ships that become flyable the more the anniversary sales will make money as more people will buy ships just based on the fact that they are in the game now lol.

I suspect (like most years) it's the new player's hype. Old players don't buy as much imo. With more content every year more new players are hooked. It looks like Drake took the top spot follow by Aegis, and a close third between Anvil and Origin (not on graph).

You know, you'd think that would make them re-think the whole "luxury pixels" in the game approach and maybe just do functional but fancy looking ships.

One would think but I like my luxury pixels. And yes I am still holding on to the 600 touring.

Yeah my 600i fell victim to the CCU bug... it grew into a Polaris. I love the look of the 600i, I pictured it as being my luxurious Millennium Falcon in Star Citizen but it wasn't happening. I expected Origin's ships to have the same function as other brands wrapped around a luxurious look. Instead they're build for a new kind of gameplay that I reserve judgement on. So at any rate, the 600i became a Polaris and I picked up a Carrack.

Yeah, honestly I think I'm going to be very happy. The Carrack came from an overall consolidation of my fleet which produced the store credit to allow me to get the Explorer pack for approx $200.00 out of pocket.
