A second identity linked to the same account

Does anyone know if you can link a second identity to the same account , I want one to be a:

Oops, I mean a:

I want one sullied pirate and the other a virgin.

To my knowledge it is 1 account = 1 character.

To have an alternate character you need an alternate account.
Thus the reason why CR and most of CIG have 2 accounts.

one character in one main org per account, any number of auxiliary orgs per character
