I know this is unusual but if anyone happens to have any it would save me a fair bit as part of a CCU chain.

I'm looking for a Merchantman to Starfarer Gemini CCU, does anyone have one in their buyback?

I believe when a CCU is no longer an increase in ship value it can be bought back for $5. If I'm wrong please let me know.

I'd be interested in multiple if you have them, let me know if you can help me out.

Generally as a rule of thumb for people in purchasing/selling ships within the Org, we normally try to have people who have been members for a while or are at least a bit active on the forums first to get to know them before trading.

Like I said in Star Hangar's discord those aren't able to be bought back because Gemini is cheaper than BMM. You are out of luck.
Yes sadly you can not buy CCUs when they are cheaper than the ship you want to downgrade from. The only way this works is the person has to have the CCU from Before the downgrade which will have a higher value(in this case BMM was 250 Gemini was 340 so should be worth about 90 usd or so. Rule of thumb is only upgrade dont downgrade and try your best to predict what will increase in price.

CCU change price with the ship that is in the CCU so having a older CCU will not work either...

In short there is no downgrade CCU, never have been never will be...

Only way to downgrade is to melt and get credits back and buy ship you want once it is avail again or buy it for new cash..

You simply can't use them at all, they get grey out asap price change when "from ship have higher value than to ship" .

You can't use, melt or gift such CCU once they are grey out
and after some time CIG simply remove them grey out CCU from your account.

Cause they have no function and just take up space in the data base.

If they have value you can melt it but you cant get it back after that.

Yeah right.. if you have some in your hangar account that's been grey out and not in buyback only thing you can do with them is melt them for credits.

But base of CCU is, there is no way to CCU downgrade.

And only thing that do not change price once purchase are game packs, add-on packs and stand alone ships, (not counting sub trinkets)

CCU always change price depending on the current ship store price.

Hey guys, thanks for the answers. Looks ike what I want isn't possible after all.

Was thrown off because some people have said the negative value CCUs are avaialbe and I had this one in my own buyback but it's apparently not the case for all of them.
