Seems there are a few, so let's take a look:

Well, that's a nice little surprise for sure. I don't recall how the alien week last year went, but I wasn't really expecting too many WB CCUs from alien week.

I can't help but to notice that BMM hasn't had a price bump in a while. Perhaps we're pretty close to the final price.

As it's expected to increase in price when it releases (Potentially later this year), it may be worth including the $220 San'tok.yāi on the list as well, given this could be the last time it is available before release... If bought now with credits, it would provide the same benefit as a release Warbond CCU, but without the need to spend new money.

Nah, it's been $650 since 22-11-21... Uhm, actually I just realized that's in American, so it's 21st of November 2022. Huh, I could've sword it's been longer. Felt like 22nd November 2021.

The BMM will not be ready this year, not anytime soon.

They were making great strides, which was why they bumped up the prices as much as they did…but then they lost a lot of the key people on the effort. It would take a lot of time to get new people back up to speed on it, and even then, it’s a single use vehicle for the assets. None of the asset they would develop for the ship could be used anywhere else. Thus, it has been shelved for the foreseeable future.

Instead, the Polaris is moving into development. The assets used for the Polaris will then be used to help create the Perseus, Galaxy, and maybe even the Apollo. (By then, they hope to have modularity sorted out…they think/say they are getting close to being done on modularity.). This will allow them to pump out multiple capital ships from their backlog by using common assets.

As a BMM backer, I personally don’t expect to see the BMM for another 3-5 years, maybe longer.

The BMM isn't going to get released any time soon. Work has stopped and resources have been reallocated. It's not a Squadron 42 ship, and everything on it is bespoke.

Alien Week 2954 has arrived. No new ships have been announced on day 1. The WB CCUs are BMM $600, Santok'yai $220 and the Glaive. I can't list the price as for whatever reason, the times I've beaten the VS didn't seem to count with CIG. I guess I'm screwed with that now since now there is no end to it from what I understand.

Hm, Glaive? I can't seem to find that. It's not even being sold atm for me... Could this be some sort of subscriber perk or something?

EDIT: Glaive is indeed listed as having a special upgrade offer, but... it's bugged or something. Did you need to complete vanduul swarm or something to buy Glaive?

I guess - and it is a total guess - this year's new alien ship might be launched tomorrow, around the time when SCL airs or a bit before. ISC is on hiatus another week, otherwise I'd have guessed it could have been today.

Thanks, I'll add it to the list. Pretty interesting WB CCU with conditional availability that's not tied to a current event. This might be a first in a sense.

I'll note that I never noticed a CCU to the Glaive, or the Pirate Cat before. (I haven't earned the Pirate Gladius.)

Cheers for the tip - did Endless Vanduul Swarm today, got the notification at wave 25, kept going a bit, and after I was done picked up a chain with a WB CCU to a Glaive. Will probably make the ship later. What do people think of it - I haven‘t heard much good, but it looks so cool.

The Glaive looks good now, but that appearance will be changing with the release of SQ42, so be sure to look up what CIG has shown us of that as well. I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard mixed reactions to it, mostly seem to be caused by what's going on with the particular patch & flight model or weapons "balances". You know, typical CIG stuff. IF I'm not mistaken, the Glaive is supposed to be the Vanduul version of the F7A.

I like the Glaive’s old look, but I really like its new look, it’s just menacing. Perfection.

Remember that initially, CIG was planning on eventually having the Glaive be able to use its wings as weapons to cut into the hulls of ships by slicing along side them like its name sake. I have no idea if that is still the plan, but I sure hope so. That would be great to have on your side, terrifying to face off against.

Note, from what I've heard, turn off the two small guns, if you are flying one. They have different pips from the large guns and this way you get more shots with your size 5's.
