Ive started to understand Scotch and bourbon better over the past few years, and hearing the way she verbalizes the experience makes me tingle.

I think coke would dissolve pretty well in any whiskey or drink for that matter.
The standard whiskey-coke combo for us has always been Jack Daniel's. Works well enough.
If you want something that costs even less and is usually found below bottom shelf cheapo stuff, try the ones labeled Canadian whiskey. That's it's only use I found for it, or as paint stripper.
