Ok, notes from the patch so far...

Massive lag spikes, this appears to be server lag, probably cause a hundered billion people are downloading from CIGs servers.
Few bugs;
QT destiantions not appearing
Ship locks in place controls do nothing
In both cases getting out of and back into ship seemed to work.
**edit, few more bugs**
300 series ships now very difficult to get into, cant find door handle "use" point (im labelling this intermittent)
not sure if specific to hornet or not, but i was having trouble with it saying reduce speed to stabilise, and i couldnt leave my seat, even when stationary
Also, apparently hornet hud not showing up properly,

havent made it to grim hex yet, the lag was too bad.
**EDIT** Went out looking for, and found, grim hex, its pretty cool. Good semi gritty feel, feels rougher than olisar and way rougher than arccorp.

new autoland/landing feature is pretty good once u get used to it.

Ill try again later to see if it has improved

Oh and people, your aUEC and everything you bought with it is gone, dont bitch and moan, its the same for everyone, go back out there and re-earn it :)

Did you open a ticket within Issue Council or have contributed to a existing one?

Keep in mind to delete your USER-folder before starting 2.5; oh and make sure to copy your controller mappings into another directory.

Keep in mind to delete your USER-folder before starting 2.5; oh and make sure to copy your controller mappings into another directory.
Going to recheck these issues when there is less lag.

Hmm, forgot to re-do user directory, better do that

Thanks for the links, will do!

I think the enter-exit issues have to do with general lag and sync issues. Maybe it's cos of my location and lag more than it's about using the use button lol. I do know that technically the system is still in it's early primitive form and I should be better off always using the in-out "use" animations so the system can register my position properly. This also worries me and will do until they change the way this "use" system works, hopefully with item2.0 and the network recode, because otherwise this will remain an issue forever for a lot of us.

Yeah the lag was so bad last night I couldn't even use the menu to bind new keys on my gamepad. Crazy.

Lag? Which lag? I played with 30 up to 40 fps on Port Olisar! With a 960 GTX 2 GB! Never had this smooth game experience before within SC.

I haven't played yet today. I'm letcha know later. But last night, yeah, it was the worst lag I've ever experienced on the game.

Those were the normal problems during roll-out-phase. Try it now. fps is really good. Only problem is that lots of gamers can't enter their ships. Hopefully, CIG solves that soon as this bug is totally new and didn't appear during PTU phase.

Yeah, I had no issues in the PTU whatsoever. I imagine the PU will be quite stable.

In general I had good FPS, but i had massive lag spikes every 20 or so seconds, these seemed to be server side, not local, though it might be cause im about as far as anywhere as a person can be (New Zealand) and everyone was updating at the time, Ill look again after work today
