Heat to relax muscle spasm, ice for strains and sprain to reduce inflammation. You can try other things, but those are simple basics that can make you more comfortable while you recover.
Also, don't take Ibuprofen on an empty stomach and don't mix Tylenol with alcohol.

Just got back from my chiropractor. Best bet, find a good one that works for you. Acupuncture also is good, as is massage from a trained massage therapist.

However, you may want to see a physician and get a pill that will relax it and a prescription/referral for physical therapy, but that choice is up to you
