First time playing ARMA with you all. It was a blast. Count me in for future games for sure!

Made a couple of noobie mistakes which I hopefully won't make again. I think I got shot about 3 seconds after getting out of the Humvee the first time... Wasn't a fabulous start. :P

I have ARMA 3 but I didn't buy any of the DLC's because sadly I think Bohemia Interactive released them too quickly after the official release of the game and on top of that I believe the amount of content you get is not worth the money. SC > ARMA 3...

But if you play on a private server that I can play on without DLC stuff I'll gladly join!

The DLC doesn't block you from joining the server if you don't own it. You're only limited by the role you can do with it. For example, in the latest helicopter DLC, you can only be a passenger, not a pilot for the new helicopters they added. It works out well because it doesn't split the community, everyone gets the "platform updates" for free (such as the new flight model), and doesn't require people to own the DLC to play online.

Also, you should hop into TS and look at the sidebar for the mods you need to install. It will take quite a while to install them the first time.

Ooh, I was an excellent helicopter pilot in ArmA 2. That's not so difficult for me, I could help with that :V

I haven't played recently, but I do have it installed. I'll check the mods and jump in with you guys sometime. I'm not awesome in any way, shape, or form. I did roll with 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion for awhile as Heli Pilot and machine gunner.

I finally picked this up! Going to play through the campaign before moving over to multiplayer.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the DayZ Epoch mod working for it. It just white screens on me repeatedly. I'll wait for the next Epoch patch to be out before trying again.
