As someone that is relatively new, what is the typical sale schedule?

People talk about anniversary and Christmas sales. What is typical for these, before now?

About when should I expect them?

(Yes I am really hoping the price of the Cutlass goes up before them. :) )

I'm not really sure, but that won't keep me from posting that the Shiny New Ship! Concept Sale is at the end of the month, every month. The Anniversary Sale is a week long event in November, but usually in the middle of the month, before Thanksgiving, if I recall. I think the Christmas Sale is at the end of December, but don't quote me on that, I don't remember last year's. Hopefully someone will come along soon who is more knowledgeable.

Expect a big sale for Citizencon and for the holidays around Thanksgiving (late Nov) and for Xmas holiday timeframe (when everything usually goes up for sale). Concept sales occur randomly throughout the year, we have 2 more of those left, one will be during Citizencon as the "game-changer". The other will likely happen around xmas timeframe.

By all means back the game to your hearts content, just remember you will be playing the same game as someone who has backed the minimum when it does arrive. In addition this game is years away from any meaningful release there is no rush, there is no need to impulse buy. One decent ship is all you need. It is not a pissing up the wall contest (blind owl would win because of the beer), who has better ships its a game play to have fun.

Well of course.

However, for my use, there are a couple of ships that aren't regularly available that I want. I like the looks and feel, and their performance in AC.

I have an Avenger for starter missions.
I have a feeling my Freelancer will be my most used ship.
