ASTRA won't talk to me

So, loaded up VoiceAttack, and decided to get me a sexy ship computer to do my bidding. Bitch won't talk to me. At all. Even bought her a vacuum for her birthday and everything (Okay, so it was on sale).

However ANNA will converse with me. Not sure what is going on with that.

But yeah, in all seriousness, the stupid new voice I purchased won't say a word, or react at all. However, ANNA (That I got for free), works just fine.

This is of course my usual escalation with women, though with less edging away and flat footing it across the parking lot for their car.

Kind of at my wits end on this.

I haven't tried any of the voice attack packs recently, but they were all working like a charm last time I did try. There are people on here that are voice attack wizards, so I'm sure someone will sort you out.

Corrupted file(s)? Have you tried, and I suppose you've tried all the usual stuff, uninstalling the files and then reinstalling them? I mean just the Astra files out of the library. I believe you can also download the files again for a short period of time. If no go after this contact VoiceAttack customer service. They should be able to help

Im not familiar with ASTRA, I have used Anna just fine.

But, there are some start-up phrases for Anna like personality and such. Maybe there is an activation phrase? Otherwise, backup, reinstall... See if you can get your hands on fresh files, like @hardroc77 mentions. Retrace your steps and see if something's missing. Good luck!

Probably the best method. I use Orion to avoid these nasty little...confrontations. ;)

Lord knows I pissed her off a few times myself over something I said or didn't say, did or didn't do that I was totally unaware of.

Yeah, temple rubs is the way to go it seems. Foot rubs are a close second.
