Been thinking of volunteering/attending the local nerd-con Anime Nebraskon. It has been a few years since I went, and the last time I was doing it as IT. Interesting stuff happens late at night when you have drunk adult nerds (i.e. drunk erotic fan-fiction reading as an actual panel). I had to steal that panel's projector to get one of the other NSFW ones going.
But I do not miss the con-funk/O.B.-haze everywhere.

I will be at Blizzcon this year again, that is about it.
I did end up planning a trip in Europe in late August, so Gamescom could be a potential target if I get there in time and can handle a train ride to Frankfurt.

I probably won't be going to a convention for a couple years after this one. Planning on saving for a trip to Tokyo (never been out of the country). Turns out International travel is much more expensive than domestic travel
