I dont know, either you "got it" or you dont, talking about streaming here... Look at Lirik, he doesent even run a Webcam and hes the most popular guy in the buisness. So applying a formula to this shit wont apply.

Yes, most people who 'made it big' on Twitch just happened upon their popularity and fame, but what Baron is doing here for people is giving those who otherwise wouldn't have considered streaming the impetus and drive to at least try it out. Personally I just find his or any insight as to why people think they get big is intriguing, regardless of how feasible it is to recreate in reality.

Someone once told me there are 3 rules:

1.) Be attractive

2.) Don't not be attractive

3.) If you refuse to follow rule 2, don't use your webcam.

Either way, looks like I'm screwed :p

It might not, especially if your goal is to get as big as Lirik -- Baron actually talks about this in the panel. But it's entirely possible (and a bunch of people do it) to make a modest living off of streaming if you come at it seriously.

I don't think anyone would argue that there's a one-size-fits-all solution, but Baron's course is less about finding that magic formula and more about taking business-minded steps toward increasing the likelihood that someone who visits your stream will return.

But I get what you're saying for sure.
