Hey guys, Birch here. What better way to play possibly of the greatest upcoming games ever than to play it with an army of like-minded murderous bunnies eh? I've got naught to bring to the table but a humble 325a, but goddamn it I will pilot that 325a so well you'll want me on all your runs.
Where you from stranger?
London, UK. I'm currently at uni but what's the point of going to uni if you're not willing to spend dozens of hours on a space sim every week.
What drew you to Star Citizen?
It looks absolutely amazing. If it's as good as we all hope it will be, it will be a leviathan in PC gaming of unseen proportions. I've never had much experience with space sims, but seeing those first trailers on Kickstarter captured my imagination like nothing else in so long. I want nothing more than to fly around with a group of pals, get into tight spots and blast our way out, returning with stories of ourstupid brave actions.
What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc)
More like what don't I look forward to. I want to try it all, but most of all I see myself being the fighter. I'm not usually one for exploring, trading etc, but Star Citizen makes me want to explore the craziest fringes of lawless space with nothing to fall back on but the wingmen beside me.
What was the first game you remember playing?
Probably one of those educational PC games that taught you maths back in the late 90s-early 00s. My first handheld was a GBA and first console was a PS2 after playing mostly browser games in my early childhood.
What other games do you play?
Currently it's mainly Pokemon Y, with a whole host of stuff on the side depending on what people want to play. Lately that's L4D2, TF2, Dark Souls, NMRiH with some CS:GO and Bad Company 2 thrown in. I'd like to check out BF4 soon if money and time allows, but we'll see.
Picard or Kirk?
I'm going to have to say Picard, watched TNG first so I might be a tad biassed.
