To answer the original poster's one year old question (and I guess yours),: Yes, VoiceAttack works great in Windows 10. I use it for Star Citizen and have had no problems. No, you cannot use Cortana's voice for VoiceAttack or general windows/Text-to-speech natively. I did however come across a post that advised how to hack your registry to enable it though, so it is perhaps possible. If you do try then please let us know how it goes (N.B. if you do not have your region settings set to America then you probably need the additional step of downloading the US speech pack - this video should guide you through that:

My latest, as an insider, just in, Windows 10 preview e-mail, lists some exiting things coming for Cortana in Windows 10.

haha I was actually about to post about this when I saw a notification in this thread, they listed music control, volume and so on. So thats promising.
Indeed, there are lots of controls listed including something they say is beautiful when you say "hey cortana."
It will also be able to do an aweful lot of control things like "Cortana Shutdown."
If I could just train her to shut down the three power bars involved.
I guess it would be wrong to ask her to get me a bear but heck, she's just a machine but she IS learning.
The best thing I like about Cortana right now is the off swiutch.

hmm just had a thought, maybe I can do something with my amazon echo. its super friendly for making anything you want. could even tie it into the the power grid software so i can have the touch controls plus the voice ones.
