Elite has a few organizations that host an online radio broadcast that features commercials and news relative to their universe. We could play music and host ads for affiliate organizations or do test talk shows. This is obviously a huge feat but I think test could be the ones to bring this to SC.

I may have a face for radio, but alas I have a voice for the clickies.
I would be up for writing in character news sections for a test radio show though, have actually come up with a couple of ssmall 'news reports' already, wasn't sure if people'd want me to share them, but I'll type 2 out here:

A veteran pilot instructor was fired today after calling an 'axial roll' a 'barrel roll'. UEE officials assure us that all of thier instructors are fully trained and that this is a case of a single repeat offender. Test squadron have been quoted as being pleased with the move saying "Anyone who doesn't know barrels intimately should never be allowed to fly"

The popular game star marine has had all of it's servers taken down after a hacker managed to make the game read 0Gs and Infinite Gs. People in full VR chambers across the verse have reported injuries as severe as broken bones. Origin say that the game will be patched and re-released "soon", until then they would like to remind everyone that thier hit game Arena Commander is still working and 100% bug free!
So yeah, I'd happily write the news :)

I really like this idea. If some of us are doing podcasts we can add the recording to the radio and have set times they play. In the group of people I am in that want to explore, talked about doing some sort of show :p but may have video, dont know yet. If this happens (and were not just audio) we can totally promote this! But I really think this is a great idea for test :) I will be watching this closely!

The funny part is my buddy wanted me to set up a radio for us well were exploring in SC so this may be just what we need. And I am sure there are many that want something similar, I see this getting lots of support at some point.

I'm totally down to contribute hosting an hour or so every couple of weeks. I'm always so busy that I don't want to pledge more time than I can feasibly dedicate right now. I can do prerecorded dialog easily and am down for some live hosting too.

So I spent all day yesterday learning the system and im wondering what suggestions anyone has for content.
once the PU goes up we can host ads for bounties and stuff but for now im working on just uploading around the verse segments and 10 fors. As for music im open to any and all ideas. Top hits, genre specific, or just tons of random genres thrown in.

Hopefully some people in test will start up podcast like content. I know last night on mumble we were having a blast and it would have made great radio content with all the back and forth and high jinx, so there is possibilities there for filler!
Alright. So still a huge project but progress is being made. Ive just set the music to top hits right now but we can go back and change that at anytime. I have the around the verses segments uploaded and set to go every hour on the 15' mark. As for personal ads I have uploaded the audio from a few of the commercials including our Com-mercial. Its scheduled to run through the week and would love any feedback or content. Especially audio content and any site art if anyone from test is good with that sort of thing. Im exhausted so Im gonna go grab a beer.

So the stream has been running for a few days only maxing at around 10 listeners. I really want to make a direct site that people can stream through instead of having to deal with radionomy but before I spend way too much time making a full site I want to get an idea if its worth it, or if it could just be a widget on Test?
