Notice this was the military Idris wearing the railgun, which is generally considered the most dread ship weapon in game. Pretty much a waste of time given torps don’t work.
Much better would have been to see how many fighters, bombers and MIS will fit on the flight deck. Carry MIS for their extra beds might for example give you an extra 9-12 beds. So players cooperating in this manner could actually log and field the Idris as carrier with say, 25-30 players aboard, supporting 20-25 attack craft. Say for instance 6 Eclipse, 12 Wolf and 4 MIS which yields 12 additional beds.
