Mission brief:
- A small independent research company, Brand Research, has developed a catalyst for Quantum Drive fuel. A small amount of this biochemical product will increase QD fuel efficiency by 10%, lowering prices across the sector. This is thanks to their very generous Banu contract. Their first batch to deliver to the local government at New Babbage is undergoing final synthesis at their small test site near Grim Hex.
- A rival company, Angel Inc., has discovered through their own Banu contacts about this catalyst and is now engaging in military operations against Brand Research. Both Brand Research and Angel Inc do not have a standing security force and have been forced to rely on Private Military Companies.
