For those of you who don’t know, 26th of April 2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, still considered the worst nuclear power plant accident in history.

I was there when Chernobyl began
1986 there was no warning when block 4 exploded. Our author, a radiobiologist, was called 48 hours later. He helped to understand the disaster. What did we learn from it?
