Does anyone know why they have take out the Constellation Taurus and when it maybe coming out ?

Was never taken out, has always been a concept to this point, and given that the Constellations really need some work done, expect it to be quite awhile until we see it.

They are awaiting the new reconfigurable physics grid that is needed for several other ships too. Once they have that, they will restart work on the Taurus and update the other connies as well.

But will they be prettier? It makes me sad that ships like the Connie and 'Lancer have so much utility but are just so boring and uninspiring inside.

It was in the roadmap not so long ago for I think 3.8 but it was taken out when they took the hull c off the roadmap too.

I don't know why really as they could easily build it, it's a normal ship, unike the hull c.

I'm not one for the "high end" ships, but I do like something that is more than a hallway with 4 bunks. There's just something about a ship has a little character: Merc, Corsair, Vulcan, that I find interesting.

Gold filigree? Don't be gauche. I only use the finest of silk personal wipes, filigree would flake and leave dingleberries.

I find the Vulcan to have almost no character. It’s a big box. The Starrunner I will give you, but the Corsair is even uglier than I am. I find the Connie to have a lot of character. Yes, it could be tweaked a bit, but it’s a working person’s ship, like the YT-1300s were. If you put the right equipment in it, it will be a really nice sleeper ship.

But that leaves you something to dig for a little later.

It's the internal layout on all of them I like. Something other than a hallway with some beds and a table, maybe a shower thrown in. I just like that there's asymmetry to the ships I mentioned, and more to them then just the aforementioned hallways and bunks. The interior of the Connie sucks. The interior of the Lancer is even worse. If I'm going to call a ship home for any amount of time, I want to like it.
