Corsair sale on the Scimitar Eite Wireless SE Mouse

Not sure if this is the right section, but let's TEST it...

Itseems at least in the U.S.A. Corsair has a sale on the Scimitar Wireless SE Gaming Mouse.
SE stands for Squardon Edition in my book.But see for yourselves.

The reason I'm pointing out this peculiar mouse (aside from the colors, the optical switches and the 33K sensor) is that it works with the Elgato Stream deck.
Short story, Corsair bought Elgato and now the Mouse with its side Buttons shows up in the Elgato Software as a virtual Deck.
And since there is a Star Citizen Keybind plugin for the Stream software this little mouse makes you e-mote with the best of them.
Among other things.
In good old Europe that mouse is at 149 €, so not half as tempting.
But if you're in the states and you need a new MMO mouse anyhow, this one is a nice choice.

I've been using the Scimitar for a few years now, it's a really good mouse though not for everyone as it's quite large in the hand and a bit heavy.

Looks like Corsair are selling it in the UK for £94.99 with free shipping: SCIMITAR ELITE WIRELESS SE MMO Gaming Mouse – Black & Yellow. I have bought so many mice to find the one I really like (Logitech MX Master 3S) I think I'm done for now. @Wolfy, do you use the Scimitar for other, non gaming stuff with your PC too? Any issues with accidentally pressing those extra buttons and stuff happening you didn't mean to do? I appreciate you can probably disable them or only enable them for certain games, but that's a bit of extra faff to set up and maintain.

I don't like mice that have buttons where your thumb is supposed to rest. Despite the awesome colour scheme I will give this one a miss. I do need a new mouse though

Great, my kind of mouse.
I think I'll order one.
Can't complain about the price seeing how I'm one buy away for the 3rd tier of Concierge.
Guess I'll get more mileage out of that thing than out of yet another ship.
(Though I doubt that mouse comes with LTI)
And my Naga is getting jitterish with age (and abuse I guess).

Long story short, I ordered one. Finaly turned up yesterday.
Did some testing and so far it works like a charm.
Got me all them side Buttons set up in the Stream Deck software for FPS stuff.
Firemode, wipe visor, flashlight and such. (Not the helmet. NEVER the helmet. No accidents in EVA please)
The button where my thumb rests I set up with another virtual Stream Deck. Basically a popup window with buttons. There on you find stuff like the "Same to you dunghead" , "f##k 0ff" and similar emotes.
Plus Yes, No, Maybe for the occasional "Do you wanna be my boyfriend" questionary.
The whole thing works in tandem with my actual Stream deck.
So I'm kinda in Stream Deck heaven.
Yay!

PS: Other than that it's a "I poll at lightspeed" kinda shooter affine mouse fitting most right hands except for the likes of Andrew the Giant maybe.
Aaaaaand it's Black&Yellow.
Nuff said!

I am really glad people like it, it's such a niche mouse and I first started using it for Eve Online and WoW as I used up all the macro keys on my keyboard, but I've really grown to love it over the years I've used it.
