I've never used Photoshop for anything animated so I don't know what version started to support that.

Yes Ps CS6 will work with the animated files.

New signature using drinking footage from recent ATV burn down. Can use AE to track face and replace with your avatar. Gif optimized at under 5MBs by removing every 2nd frame. 720px wide by 180px tall
