Hi All,
I was TESTing the delivery missions. This time the idea was to use a Constellation Aquila and to get many parcels from around Port Olisar (Yela, Ceilin, that kind of area) and then deliver them all to Lorville (mostly Gate 1, Gate 2).
The strategy is that:
In TESTing, while I've been collecting the parcels I've started receiving messages that the delivery missions are withdrawn and the missions started to disappear from my mobiGlass, even those where I've already collected the parcels. So, this suggests the above strategy wouldn't work, as there appears to be a timer on delivery missions. While I haven't timed those exactly, it seemed like the timer is for around 1 hour. I haven't picked all missions at once, rather I've been waiting at Olisar until I've collected enough missions to begin, and then the actual pick up time, all added to the length of the exercise.
I guess those missions are "Courier", that's why you can't just collect all and deliver, like a normal post. However, there is no explicit timer on these missions, as I've said above. So, has anyone else experienced this? Do you know what timer(s) is(are) put on delivery missions, e.g. a longer timer on a long distance travel missions and a shorter timer on a short distance delivery missions?
I guess, if there indeed is a timer on delivery missions and you want to maximise the return, you may need to work with a team, so that some are collecting parcels on small and nimble ships and bringing to a large ship, that travels fast at long distances.
The other thought is that there probably may be bulk delivery missions, like a post truck/plane that goes long distance once a day. Maybe that will be for Hull type of ships.
This situation reminded me that in theory TESTing and theory are the same, in TESTing they are not.

The strategy is that:
- There is no explicit timer or delivery window on missions.
- Aquila can carry many parcels.
- Aquila can travel long distances quickly.
- Ursa Rover can also carry decent number of parcels and you can quickly transfer them to and from the ship using the Rover.
- Collect all the parcels taking your time, and then deliver and unload all at once in one or two locations that are very near and accessible via the Rover (one last parcel was for Teasa Spaceport, bu that one could be carried after final landing).
- I've got 12 missions, each around 7.4k - 8.9k aUEC (can't remember the exact numbers), so the expected income would be around 100k aUEC, then there are some expenses for fuel.
