I remember so clearly being told about this game before I played it.
One friend told me it was like Doom, except you could move in all direction!
I was sooo excited!
The game did not disappoint, it was a masterpiece and a big step forward in gaming.
yes it's on steam early alpha. it started like 1 month ago for subscribers (proving grounds $10 /month) .
I played with the devs yesterday, it was fun! The game is pretty crude right now, there are 2 game modes: free for all called anarchy and capture the core. you can do test flight and they just included practice vs AI bots.
they spend quit some time trying to get the same flight model of Descent 1. its a fast pace game totally arcade, that's what wingman said they wanted. they gonna have another contest for making a bot/drone. I missed the first one... lazy 3D artist I am
I was a huge fan of the older games, 1 and 2. Played them for hours at a time. I'll pick this one up, might be fun! I do kinda wish Wingman came back to CIG though, he brought a certain amount of fun with him.
