Wait, the regular Connie has the two huge turrets but this only has a top one? I know it gets a rear defence, but do you think that offsets the loss of the second class 5 turret?

no, it has a bottom one, it's just not accessible right now. I, for one, can't access either turret on my Andromeda, but I obviously know they are there. The new interiors are a complete reset for the constellations. It's going to take some time for them to have anything close to the old "functionality".
