Since the recent Reclaimer rear salvage lift update, we can finally unload large containers without major problems. But that's not all. Before 4.3, we could load multiple Cyclone buggies into cargo hold via main elevator. Now, updated rear elevator allows us to load various things into salvage hold with the MaxLift Tractor Beam:

MaxLift Tractor Beam can be also used to place smaller vehicles in Polaris ship hangar (for example, to keep the entire cargo grid available), as well as in Carrack's ship hangar. In the latter case, you can do it directly from the ship's roof, thanks to the roof airlocks. Unfortunately, Polaris doesn't have a convenient rooftop entry, so the only way to safely load larger stuff in the hangar is do it in two steps -- first, place the object on the edge of the hangar, then go to the hangar and move the object inside the hangar:

a few days ago I think it was Spacemech that spotted a NURSA out of a destroyed vanguard or something and I moved it around with the MaxLift after he touched it down. And threw it out later the next day in hangar. That primary tool is legendary!
