Do different ships cool weapons quicker?

Heyo!
In arena commander it seems like, to me at least, that different ships cool weapons quicker. In my Aurora LN I was using the Omninsky III and IV's with moderate overheating rate but when I tried them in the 325a it seemed like they were overheating much quicker- neither ships are damaged if that's what you're thinking. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

This is a known issue with the 300 series, they are missing about half of the cooling systems currently. The 300 series is eventually going to be reworked, so this is considered low priority for CIG.

Thats kind of a loaded question..........
So, the thing is, since the game is still in Alpha, and systems are being added and/or modified all the time, the cooling system is not complete, yet.
I know the plan is to be able to install aftermarket cooling systems, or swap them from other ships, but at this point, they should all have "close to" the stock cooling system values.

heatsink/coolant are in place but not properly implemented.

so ships cooling can vary but also it would later vary on where you mount it.
Ohhhh that's cool, I hadn't thought of the position of where you mount it mattering. Is there going to be a way to divert more power into cooling from other systems or weapons? A little off topic but you, and everyone else, seem pretty versed on this matter

we have 3 options now in power management

1) Engine
2) Shield
3) Weapons

supposedly if you put all power to weapons it should be able to have more power pool on your weapons so you can fire more, that I think does not include cooling as I have said it is not properly implemented yet. Who knows we may be able to divert cooling say put more cooling to weapons instead to the powerplant?

I do believe that the power management will end up being more in-depth than just the three settings, plus there is supposed to be a way to mod the weapons themselves, in the PU of course.

I would certainly hope so because if the game is going to be as realistic as it claims, and I believe in, managing your systems to a very detailed degree to the point where it's at least a necessity for larger ships is a must. Especially for those playing with touch screens where you can interact with a map of the ship diverting power for shields or fluid flow for cooling weapons to what needs it most within seconds during an intense space flight while opening specific vents to eject boarding players. This is one of my fantasy scenarios at least.
