I would die if someone killed a pod. Those are relics. If I can find one, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

If I had a "pod" like that.. my wife would just lock me in it and claim I disappeared and claim insurance money. Hmmm could be a win win.

there are a bunch of cheap ones for sale that are broken, or already gutted.

I found an ad for a place in california that were GIVING broken pods away. the ad was 2 years old though

Couple hundred dollars max.

Ouch... If I were to price it out, I'd likely ask at least $2000 (not including any tech or finish) for a one-off and if I were able to sell more than 5 units, no less than $1500. There is a lot of engineering in a piece like that, control and mechanicals. High quality panel stock and slide hardware for the door will likely cost around $300-500 labor is high because there is nothing standard and then add profit cause, well, why do it otherwise.

Of course! They were my favorite. We have a couple arcade bars now but sadly none of them have any mech games. I think I saw one at a warehouse where I helped a buddy shoot a music video. They had a ton in storage I think to rotate around town.
