Does the 315p tractor beam work?

I'm wondering if the tractor beam on the 315p can be used for Jumptown. I got Star Citizen and an SSD for Christmas. Grinded my first million EUAC and I'm considering buying a 315p in-game but I'm not sure if the tractor beam is functional yet. I think the 300 series is really purdy.

Not yet unfortunately. They have tier 1 of tractor beams working, but those are hand held. Those for ships are still in the pipeline somewhere.
