It does, and that pope is Chris Roberts.I thought it meant that his computer chose a new pope.

I have overclocked my Geforce 650M on my laptop and black smoke is coming out is this bad? So far I have been roasting marshmallows on it and making smores.
That's pretty similar to what I'm running, I may bump up the RAM to 16GB depending on how it handles the DFM, and add a second GTX770 for the Alpha+Beta if the game supports it. I haven't OC'd my CPU yet, mainly because I'm a bit nervous that I'll cause my computer to catch fire or something.my GPU can take it, but I have a core i5-4670k (OC @ 4.4GHz) and only 8GB of RAM I believe... SSD I have but is not saved on it atm
That is odd...Just tried the hanger module and frame rates on very high are not promising, 20-35
lga2011 p9x79-deluxe
i73820 @4.8GHz
quad channel 16GB dominator @1666Mhz
OCZ vertex 3 SSD
Saphirre HD7970 OC (1000/1450)
Not sure what the deal is, I've seen threads with much less beefy PC's reporting higher frames.....why me :_(
DFM is likely to bring it to it's knees.....which would be a first. Damn, how will I view my shiny, shiny Aurora now.
Thanks for the stats CompetentAlloy. That is odd...
My rig:
AMD FX-6300 3.75Ghz
GTX 660 SLI
16 gb of RAM
and I'm pulling a consistant 40-50 fps with very high settings in the hangar module...
Well, while you do have a pretty sweet setup there (seriously jealous over here :P ), you should also keep in mind that SC will probably be running at high settings on next year's cards. I'm sure 2 - 7970's will get you close, but probably won't max everything out. Still will look great, but generally speaking, won't max out the graphics.I will continue to save for a 2nd card. I've been meaning to do this for a while as I want to play Metro Last Light on full settings. I am a gaming magpie and will be tracking shiny enemy ships...."don't leave that parked there...".
Thanks JoeCool4433, it's my pride and joy (my car is falling apart because of this). I don't see myself being able to do a full upgrade, not even by next year. I think I will take your advice on the GFX card though, lets hope there are still PCI-E 3.0 versions next year....there's always tri-fire I suppose, who needs to eat!Well, while you do have a pretty sweet setup there (seriously jealous over here :p ), you should also keep in mind that SC will probably be running at high settings on next year's cards. So not sure if its worthwhile paying for a card now or waiting til next year's are out and paying for the upgrade then. Then again, you could be in my boat in a year's time where the only way to upgrade cards is to start upgrading the PSU, then the mobo, then the CPU, etc...
No problem. SLI is awesome, but unfortunately some games don't make themselves very compatible with it.Thanks for the stats CompetentAlloy.
I think that FPS might be comparable. The 660 in SLI is quite a bit better than a single 7970 it would seem.
Yeah prior to the release I plan to sell off one of my 660's and get a 780 or maybe whatever's coming out in the 800 series that's comparable.Well, while you do have a pretty sweet setup there (seriously jealous over here :p ), you should also keep in mind that SC will probably be running at high settings on next year's cards.
