Ok, so I can pick Doom for 50% off through greenmangaming right now. Some great nostalgia there. Probably a badass game.

I can also pick up the Technomancer. Slightly more expensive, but looks like a pretty awesome game. Love the cyberpunk theme. Action RPG.

Thoughts people?
Who played either game?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the input gents. If I get either it'll be doom methinks. Technomancer doesn't review all that well. And Doom looks fun as fuck

Im loving it! Not sure if its worth the super duper awesome edition or not.. i just got the standard one and am trying to get the feel for it yet after a couple days of playing.. and a couple restarts. Definitely looking forward to getting a few other people to play it with though!

I have heard good things about doom if you are looking for a fast paced shooter as for Technomancer I heard it was not very good so I passed on it.

Thanks for all the input gents. In the end I went with none of the above. Mostly because I have way too many games I haven't even touched. I'll probably hit the shit out of Destiny for a bit, get caught up before the next major DLC drop in September. Then maybe look at finishing up Fallout 4.

Doom 1 and 2 were the best although the graphics wouldn't do it justice today.
Back when Doom 1 was released I near jumped out of my chair when the first pink monster came running around the corner.
It started it all in psuedo 3d.
Since most people did not even know how tro turn on a computer in those days, the BIG boss of my company in my region said "just get them top play with them" so I bought a PC for our tool room in a large equipment repair garage and I told my staff "Just play with it".
I would regularly walk into that room and someone or another would be playing solitaire on Windows 3.0. (sorry got off track).
The local IT guy gave certain remote locations Doom to get them to melt their computer fear.
So here I am just a guy in charge of the fleet and they used to call me asking me Doom questions. LOL.
"Why do those things explode when you shoot them? answer "They are barrels of fuel"
We made many of our own Doom levels ourselves and they were way beter then the ones in the game.
Doom 3 dissappointed me. I finished it in 2 days. I won't buy another Doom.

I still get e-mails today thanking me for sending my Mechanics and other staff to computer training.
Doom started it all.

Answer is obviuos: save the money and wait for the next concept sale; or buy more beer. If the fridge is full, buy beer as a capital investment. Sell it later and invest the then grown capital into the next concept sale.

You're so wise Sam.
I bought beer. Now I'm waiting for another concept sale. ;)

Doom is great if you like ridiculously high speed FPS, over-the-top gratuitous blood n' guts, and completely unnecessary violence.

I passed on the sale. I wanted doom. But my very limited computer time is devoted to SC and being more better at drinking and crashing - I still haven't successfully landed.
