Also worth noting (as I tested in beta) you can make multiple characters in the benchmarker tool / character creator. They will then all show up as 'presets' when you start the game. You'll have an opportunity to tweek any looks, then select home planet and staring class again.
Probably will happen, the game releases (early) in about 8 hours, then full general release will be in 5 days. On full release there will be many extra servers added so wait and see I guess.
Had fun in the beta as well. Will probably buy the game later, maybe we will meet later in the verse.. I mean on Arrakis.
I've been running a Bene Gesserit and Swordmaster hybrid. I can close distance extremely fast and have a lot of bonuses to melee damage, I can usually kill tier V players in 1 hit and tier VI players in 3 hits through their shield.
Additional note: The spiral server is in east us.
How's the game's playability if you're playing from a different region?
I can only speak from my experience, which is playing with my partner in Germany. She was not experiencing many issues with latency but it did crop up occasionally. That was with a 1GHz connection in Berlin, connecting to The Spiral which is an Eastcoast US server. Overall it was playable.
