Got both, and super excited to see them in game. I didn't think they were that far along! I saw an Eradicator vid with one sitting above a pad at a station, had a gun on it, but no landing gear.

As much as I want to like the Ares I'm having trouble getting over the glaring physics oversight. . . every time I look at it all I can do is envision trying to fire that off-set gun, going into a flat spin from the recoil, accidentally firing again in panic, and then blacking out from the centripetal g-force :/

That's exactly what would happen. The A10 produces about 50% rearward thrust when it fires its gun. If it were offset it would knock the plane out of the sky.

Well in the last ISC they mentioned the new Xeonotreath even will be a copy 2.0 of the previes one... considering the Nine Tails one is planned for 3.14 I really see the Xeno_2.0 coming with the Ares.
It will be the perfect enviroment to test them out, both for the Idris fight and for the hipe of the new ship.
And BTW it will came out during IAE... so plenty of rented ship also...
