This is about 25% power boost over the F22, so even if it weighs as much we should expect record breaking performance.
I have not heard anything about the airframe, but I will note that we must be flying something close to the X47b, since US Navy paid for a spindle and gantry winder so Northrop Grumman could use wet filament winding to build the drone’s airframe in 1 piece at lowest weight. If the same tech was applied to FA-XX, it will be much lighter and stronger than the F22. This would also make the plane much cheaper to build, though it’s not like the taxpayer would see any savings. The delta wing will give this better range. Looks like a host of improvements over the F35.
