Tim Cain (Creator of Fallout) loves the show.
He nails it quite well in his video. The success isn't about nailing the plot/canon/lore 100%, it's about capturing the FEEL of the franchise which the show does spectacularly. More importantly for me, I was entertained for all 8 episodes, laughing and jumping all over the place. Hell my wife who doesn't game at all loved the series.
