i would say buy if you like fighting games. its a great game designed well and plays great. Control scheme is different for sure and takes time to get used to.

I keep pressing the wrong button being to used to conventional games trying to do things like grab when i want to block.

My son talked me into d/l the beta. I had problems logging on during the weekend, but when i finally got on-line, I liked it.
Not sure if I'm gonna be a hairy Scottsman ,dwarf, or a Viking.

The game overall was fun, but I'm going to hold off and see how launch goes. I worry about lack of content down the road. The peer to peer only connection with no dedicated servers is also a bad idea.

I ended up getting the game, and i do not regret it, it has a steep learning curve but once you "get it" then the game is great, im semi decent at the game after playing 4 days. Only been focusing on one character so far tough. Much to learn lol!
