well i'm still working on a server. Lots of reading to do to get to that point. However, does anyone want to try to join an existing server that is out there? i"m know we will have to download some mods to join other servers since their are probably not any vanilla servers still out there.

Should actually check for a server that's already up and we can just put up roots there. I remember a few people talking about a large community a while ago that runs a pretty successful server.

EDIT: Also, isn't Freelancer considered abandonware at this point?

I like that in the link you posted, one of the pictures for Freelancer is a picture of the Freelancer... from Star Citizen.

sweet! I've been busy preparing for an inspection and drill at work. So haven't had time to dabble in it yet. I'm going to be on leave next week so i'll start then.

Let me know if anyone finds a server and what mods we need to download to join it. Can't wait!
